Connect Claude Code
or Codex to Snipara.
One native plugin for project knowledge, saved workflows and explicit orchestration. Keep the model and coding account you already use.
Free plugin · Snipara account and project access required · Optional service subscription purchased separately on snipara.com.
Install your plugin.
1. Install the plugin
claude plugin marketplace add Snipara/snipara-claude
claude plugin install snipara@snipara-pluginsRestart Claude Code after installation.
2. Connect your project
Open /mcp and authenticate plugin:snipara:snipara-plugin. Sign in to Snipara and choose a project you can access. Upload a README or document to that project first.
OAuth credentials stay with your coding client. Reconnect to select a different project.
3. Check a sourced answer
Use the Snipara plugin to report the selected project, then answer: How do I run this project's tests? Cite the source file and section.Compare the cited passage with your document. Use the settings skill to align local modules with the same project.
Three modules.
Your choice.
All three are on by default in the native package. Use the settings skill to turn each one off independently. Refresh or restart your client after changing the generated profile.
| Module | What it adds | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Snipara | Hosted sources, project context and reviewed memory. | Connect through your client’s OAuth flow. |
| Companion | Local plans, checkpoints, evidence and resumption. | Explicit local engine setup and project alignment. |
| Orchestrator | Configured execution, task coordination, proof and review gates. | Explicit local engine, model, policy and permission configuration. |
Enabling modules does not install engines, dispatch workers or deploy a repository. Native OAuth credentials stay with the host; local engines use their own credentials. With Snipara off, the plugin restricts local modules to status, help and version.
Companion setupAnother coding client?
Cursor, VS Code and other compatible MCP clients can still connect to Snipara Hosted MCP. Use the guided setup in your existing project folder.
